VEPR SUPER 308—FIRST US IMPORT—BEST VERSION!

ORIGINAL ROBINSON ARMAMENT—SUPERIOR TO FIME GUNS!

Our items aren’t for sale (or on display) anywhere else so they’re not fooled with, knocked around, dry-fired, etc.! All our auctions are amended and updated periodically, so it’s good to re-read the descriptions, etc.

I. This Molot Benpb, “Vepr Super” .308 rifle was one of the first early imports (2002) by Robinson Armament, the first (and only) company to import fully assembled Vepr AK-style rifles! The current Vepr Super rifles, imported by Fime, may be less expensive—but are vastly inferior to these original RA guns! Just look closely at the thin, skinny barrels! The fluted barrel on this gun measures from .765 to .710 at the muzzle. Just ask a seller of a Fime gun to give you the measurements of their barrels! Now which barrel would you want? No doubt there are other short-cuts Fime went to that I don’t know about!

II. This rifle isn’t like a typical AK, nor is it a complex, less-reliable, run-of-the-mill AR.  And, if you’re old school or one of the newer generations that (hopefully) still appreciates the traditional look and feel of guns with full, fine wood stocks, but you want a defense-proven, ultra-reliable, hi-cap semi-auto—this might be your gun—this is your gun!

III. This gun also has the coveted, top-mounting, true-zeroing, quick-release scope mount that Molot engineered specifically for the Super 308 rifles. However, later Robinson imports used these mounts, but Molot did not include them with the rifles. If you have one of these later imports, and can find one of these mounts, you’ll pay upwards of $200+. Note: You can’t use one of the good mounts on the Fime guns! Fime couldn’t import this superior mounting system so they went to the old, crappy, side-mounted, Kalashnikov abortions that they could easily find in the U.S. Now which mount would you want—which rifle would you want?

IV. This Vepr Super .308 with the beautiful European walnut stock, also comes with four, 5rd factory mags, four 10rd factory mags, and four original Csspecs, ultra-quality, steel 20rd mags, factory box, manual, and cleaning kit. Be sure and take a look at the interesting data and photos I compiled about Vepr rifles at this link: Why Buy A Robinson Vepr.

Note: If I get enough requests, I will sell the mags separately and price the gun and mags accordingly.

Note 2: The shipping may seem high because the mags have to be shipped separately. However, I will refund any excess over five dollars and include it with your shipment.

V. The photos really do a pretty good job of depicting the great, overall condition. I know my close-up photos sometimes bite me in the ass, but I really want people to see what they’re buying! Hell, you wouldn’t see this much detail if you were looking at one in a shop! I use intense lighting that can give some parts a kind-of "grainy" texture—but, they truly don’t look that way with the naked eye! Again, close-ups biting my butt! Also, there may be some lint, microscopic dust, and a few hairs (probably my shop-dog’s hairs) in the close-ups—they’re not scratches, etc. There may also be a little discoloration in one or more photos because I keep parts wiped down with a KleenBore silicone gun cloth.

VI. When I take a gun out of it’s box to photograph, I use extreme diligence in careful handling. Also, I wipe all surfaces with a KleenBore silicone gun cloth. Most times when I repack the gun/box, it’s much more protected from shipping jolts and moisture than it came from the factory. Note: Any white stuff you see is Remington Teflon dry spray. I really like it and have generally used it for years in place of oil.

VII. This like-new, unfired, Vepr Super .308 and extras are a much better-than-average value! There are only miniscule, ultra-slight imperfections (that most likely came from the factory). I’m conservatively rating it between “New-Old-Stock” and “New, As New, or Like New” (see our “Firearm Standards” link under the “Additional Terms of Sale” tab above). The gun definitely leans toward New! After writing about this gun, I’m thinking I may be crazy to part with it—so you better make it yours before I come to my senses!

VIII. One last request: Please check out our other auctions at "Other Neat Stuff"!  Especially our beautiful, custom embroidered shirt, with a pissed-off lady saying: “My Husband Bought A New Gun…All I Got Was This Shirt”.

IX. NOTE ABOUT CONSIGNORS AND ME: I know most of you will just ignore this like I’m talking to a wall, but it remains a fact—Consignors (including myself) can be a fickle bunch when it comes to selling their/our stuff. I’ve had them read my (wonderful) descriptions and become re-sold on their items! Hell, last year I did this 4 times on my own guns! At any time, if there are no bids, the Consignors can tell me to raise prices or even cancel the auctions! Believe me, I do this way more often than I’d like to. However, as soon as there is a bid, the auctions can’t (and won’t) be stopped, and someone (like you) is going to get that/this gun, etc.! So, if you haven’t guessed it, the moral of this short-story is once you’ve made the decision to buy—don’t wait until the last minute to bid. Now, if you’ve read this far, you know you want it—so bid! Thanks.
